Who will lead the training?

Giulia Gemelli
Graduated in International and Diplomatic Sciences at the University of Bologna - Forlì. Subsequently, she obtained a master's degree in Conflict Studies from the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE).
In INTERSOS since 2017, since 2019 he has been responsible for MEAL and Information Management, working closely with all the departments of the headquarters and, above all, with the Missions. She regularly travels to the INTERSOS intervention countries to train the staff on approaches and methodologies for data collection, management and analysis, with the aim of increasing the quality of the intervention and strengthening the effectiveness and efficiency of the activities and services provided.
Over the past year she has carried out missions in several countries, including Afghanistan and Yemen, and spent around two months in Poland, Moldova and Ukraine to support INTERSOS in responding to the regional crisis by structuring appropriate MEAL and IM systems to the context.

Who is this workshop for?
The workshop is aimed at all those who work on projects in the humanitarian or development sector, both as project managers and as technical representatives (in the health, protection or other sectors), and who are interested in improving the quality of the intervention through the implementation of monitoring and evaluation systems.

Requirements
Basic knowledge of the Project cycle is required, acquired through studies or field experiences - preferably in humanitarian or development contexts. The course will be held in English, as well as the teaching materials.

Certificate of attendance issued by INTERSOS Lab Training center in partnership with INTERSOS (minimum attendance of 80%)
